By the time I reached the 10th grade in high school, I was 5’4’’ and weighed only 97 pounds. Needless to say, I would often get challenged by bigger kids talking smack and trying to act all tough, putting me down due to my size. It was hard for me, but I knew fighting was not the answer (or it could have been that I did not want to get my ass kicked). Even though I had been training in martial arts since I was nine years old, it wasn’t until I started training in Krav Maga that my perspective towards the situation changed, and my confidence began to grow. The more I trained in Krav Maga the more my body developed to become stronger, faster, and more agile. In school I went from the shy kid who hated to get up in front of the class, to the guy giving sales pitches to presidents and CEO’s of companies, to opening up and running two of the most successful Krav Maga facilities in the world.
