I've been to all the Krav Maga gyms in LA. Finally I found my favorite training center! This is the best Krav Maga gym I've ever been to. Period. The best instructors in town are here! All of them have been doing Krav Maga for years, have advanced belt levels, are very patient and willing to work with you until you learn the defenses and combatives correctly. I hate the gym, but love training in Krav Maga Unyted.

It takes commitment (to me) to get up on a Saturday morning and drive from the Valley to Downtown. Coming off of the CrossFit high was tough, and I didn't think that any other method could compare. This got me thinking about what Krav Maga is. It is fitness with a purpose. Strength, stamina, and an enviable physique are a guarantee after any consistent class attendance, but they should be bi-products of a work-out, and not the sole purpose. In front of my sweat covered eyes, I saw how I can actually attack someone who is trying to hurt me. As a woman, you couldn't empower me more.
